To connect your HDMI input sources and output devices to the AC-MX-42X HDMI Matrix Switcher, follow these steps:
1. Connect your HDMI input sources (such as gaming consoles, streaming devices, and satellite receivers) to the desired inputs of the AC-MX-42X.
2. Connect your HDMI output devices (such as 4K/8K displays and AV receivers) to the HDMI outputs of the AC-MX-42X.
3. Connect the power supply to the AC-MX-42X.
4. Turn on your input devices (e.g., gaming consoles, streaming devices).
5. Turn on your output devices (e.g., displays, AV receivers).
You can control the switcher using the front panel buttons or the AVPro EdgeUI Interface. The front panel includes a diagnostic screen that shows output signal information, buttons to change the input source for each HDMI output, a functional mode button to toggle between matrix and distribution amplifier modes, and a scaler set button to set the scaler mode for HDMI output 2.
