To install the AKO D14212 Thermostat Electronic Controller, follow these steps:
1. Choose a suitable location: The controller should be installed in a place protected from vibrations, water, and corrosive gases. The ambient temperature should not exceed the specified values in the technical data.
2. Panel mounting: If you are using a panel mounting unit, make sure to properly install the gasket between the controller and the panel cut-out. This will provide IP65 protection.
3. Probe installation: Install the probe in a location without heat influences other than the temperature that needs to be measured or controlled. The distance between the probe and the measured object should be 18 mm.
4. Fastening: If you are using a panel mounting unit, place the fasteners over the sliders and move them in the direction of the arrow. Press the tab to move the fasteners in the opposite direction. If you are using a DIN rail mounting unit, follow the instructions provided in the manual.
5. Connection: Refer to the diagram on the unit rating plate for the correct wiring connections. Make sure to never install the probe and its lead in ducting along with power, control, or power supply wiring. The power supply circuit should be connected with a minimum 2A, 230V switch located close to the unit. Use appropriate cables for the connections.
Please note that these are general installation guidelines. For specific details and further instructions, refer to the AKO D14212 Thermostat Electronic Controller Instruction Manual.
