5. Remove the lower attachment xxxx for the rear suspension linkage rods.
6. Remove the front shock absorber attachment xxxx .
7. Push the shock absorber forward to gain access to the rear attachment xxxx .
8. Remove the rear shock absorber attachment xxxx at the shock-link and remove the original shock absorber.
9. Install the Öhlins shock absorber with the cylinder head toward the frame and hoses down and out to the left. Route the hoses between the frame and subframe before mounting the shock to the frame.
10. Install the rear shock absorber xxxx first, taking care of the loose bearing.
11. Install the front shock absorber attachment xxxx and the linkage rods.
12. Lower the vehicle so that the suspension is slightly compressed before tightening the screws.
13. Make sure to tighten all screws to the correct torque and ensure that nothing fouls or restricts the movement of the shock absorber, front fork, or steering damper when the suspension is fully compressed or extended.
14. Mount the bracket to the compression and hydraulic preload adjusters first, and then to the frame using the supplied screws (2x 01046-36).
15. Use tie-raps to secure the hoses as shown in the provided picture.
16. Before riding, always ensure that the setup is according to the recommended setup data. Read about adjustments and setting up in the Öhlins Owner's Manual before making any adjustments. Contact an Öhlins dealer if you have any questions about setting up.
Please note that this is a general installation guide. For specific details and important data, refer to the Öhlins Owner's Manual and the vehicle service manual. If you have any further questions or concerns, it is recommended to contact Öhlins or an authorized Öhlins dealer for assistance.
