The Harley Benton 256800 Vintage Overdrive Effects Pedal can be powered either by a 9 V battery or a DC 9 V power adapter. To use a battery, you need to insert a 9-V block battery into the battery compartment, making sure to observe the correct polarity. The battery compartment is located on the back of the pedal, and you can access it by pressing lightly on the battery compartment cover and sliding it downwards in the direction of the arrow. If you prefer to use a power adapter, you can connect it to the DC 9V input on the pedal. Please ensure that the power adapter has a voltage rating of 9 V DC and the correct polarity. When using an external power supply, the battery supply is automatically cut off. It's important to note that the power adapter and battery are not included with the pedal and need to be purchased separately.
