To change the deployment duration of the sPAT tag, you will need to use the Tag Agent software provided by Wildlife Computers. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Connect the sPAT tag to your computer using the USB communications cable.
2. Open the Tag Agent software.
3. Swipe a magnet near the communication port of the tag to establish a connection.
4. Click on the "Administer Tag" button in the software's menu bar.
5. In the "Tag Release Sequence" section, you will see options for the deployment duration (30, 45, or 60 days).
6. Select the desired deployment duration for your tag.
7. Click the "Send Changes" button to apply the new settings to the tag.
Please note that the sPAT tag is shipped with default settings, so if you want to change the deployment duration, you will need to follow these steps.
