To connect the RENAC NAC4K-DS single-phase solar grid inverter to the grid, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the AC circuit breaker is disconnected before starting any service work.
2. Set the DC load-break switch of the inverter to OFF.
3. Wait at least 5 minutes for the inner capacitors to discharge completely.
4. Verify that there is no voltage or current before pulling any connector.
5. Connect the AC wires (PE/L/N) to the inverter AC side through an AC circuit breaker.
6. Make sure the PE line of the inverter is connected to the earth, and ensure the impedance of the neutral wire and earth wire is less than 10 ohms.
7. Disconnect the breaker or fuse between the inverter and the utility grid.
8. All inverters have an internal Residual Current Device (RCD) for protection. Make sure it is functioning properly.
9. Connect the inverter to the grid by tightening the nut clockwise and tightening the L/N/PE cable screws to the terminals according to the markings.
10. Plug the grid-side connector into the AC connector of the inverter.
11. Once the connections are made, close the AC circuit breaker.
