According to the owner's manual, the condition of the primary filter should be checked every 50 hours of operation. If the filter has tears, holes, or other damage, it should be replaced. To replace the filter, disconnect and lift the head of the vacuum, remove the filter's cylindrical steel protection, unscrew the wing nut, and replace the filter with a proper one for the vacuum cleaner. Make sure to install the new filter correctly according to the label on the bottom of the filter. Finally, reassemble the vacuum by mounting the cylindrical protection and reconnecting the head to the filtering chamber.
