To clean and disinfect the HotDog U5XX Patient Warming Mattress, follow the steps below:
1. If visible soiling is present, remove it before applying a disinfectant. Scrub the affected area with detergent, using a soft brush or sponge to remove organic matter.
2. Rinse the surface of the mattress using a dampened cloth. Do not immerse the device in liquids.
3. Apply a low- or intermediate-level disinfectant to the entire surface of the mattress by spraying or wiping. Follow the disinfectant manufacturer's application instructions to ensure proper disinfection.
4. Dry the mattress thoroughly before use.
Please note that the mattress should not be laundered or sterilized, as this may damage the device. Additionally, do not use high-level disinfectants or hydrogen peroxide-based solutions to clean the mattress. Always refer to the User Manual for specific cleaning and disinfection instructions, and consult with an authorized service representative if you have any questions or concerns.
