The grease filter should be cleaned once a month using non-aggressive detergents. You can clean it either by hand or in the dishwasher, using a low temperature and a short cycle. When washing it in the dishwasher, the grease filter may slightly discolor, but this does not affect its filtering capacity. To remove the grease filter, simply pull the spring release handle. Regular cleaning of the grease filter is important to maintain the efficiency of the hood and prevent fire risks.
