To update the Intel Interlaken 2nd Gen FPGA IP, you need to regenerate the IP after updating the Intel Quartus Prime software. The IP version (X.Y.Z) number can change with each Intel Quartus Prime software version. Here's how you can update the IP:
1. Install the latest version of the Intel Quartus Prime Design Suite software.
2. Open your project in the Quartus Prime software.
3. Navigate to the IP Catalog and find the Intel Interlaken 2nd Gen FPGA IP.
4. Right-click on the IP and select "Regenerate IP" or "Update IP" depending on the Quartus Prime version.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to regenerate the IP with the latest version.
Note: If a release note is not available for a specific IP core version, it means there are no changes in that version.
