To install the attachments on the Metcalfe MP30 mixer, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the mixer is turned off and the bowl is raised.
2. Loosen and remove the attachment hub thumbscrew located on the front of the mixer.
3. Remove the plastic cover from the attachment hub.
4. Lubricate the attachment shaft with a food-quality grease or mineral oil.
5. Insert the attachment shaft into the hub, making sure to line up the alignment pin with the hub hole.
6. Rotate the attachment clockwise to secure it onto the planetary shaft.
7. Tighten the thumbscrew back into the hub and securely tighten it.
8. Select the appropriate speed setting by lifting or lowering the speed control lever.
9. Press the start button located on the middle of the control panel to start the mixer.
Please note that the mixer must be turned off before installing or removing attachments. Also, make sure the bowl is raised and the bowl guard is closed, as the mixer will not start if these safety measures are not in place.
