To measure AC current using the KPS DCM3000 TRMS Clamp Meter 1000A AC, follow these steps:
1. Set the measuring switch to position A, which is the AC current measurement state.
2. Choose the appropriate measuring range for your current measurement.
3. Hold the trigger and open the clamp head.
4. Clip one lead of the measurement circuit to be tested in the clamp.
5. Read the current value on the LCD display.
Note: It is important to remove the probe from the meter before measuring with the current clamp to avoid electric shock. Also, clamping two or more lines of the circuit simultaneously will not give accurate results. Make sure to connect the wire to be tested at the center of the current clamp for accurate readings.
