To add the HOBO RXW Repeater to the HOBOnet Wireless Sensor Network, follow these steps:
1. Make sure to keep the repeater near the station while completing these steps.
2. If you are setting up a new station, refer to the station quick start guide before setting up the repeater.
3. Press the Select button to switch to the module with the manager (module 2 on RX2105 or RX2106 stations).
4. Press the Search button on the station. The magnifying glass icon will blink, indicating that the station is in search mode, waiting for repeaters to join the network.
5. Open the repeater door and install the batteries if you haven't done so already. Press the button on the repeater for 3 seconds.
6. Watch the repeater LCD while it joins the network:
- The signal strength icon will blink while searching for a network.
- Once a network is found, the icon will stop blinking, and the bars will cycle from left to right.
- The network connection "x" icon will blink while the repeater completes the registration process, which may take up to five minutes.
7. Once the repeater has finished joining the network, the "x" icon will no longer be displayed, and the channel count on the station LCD will increase by one for the repeater battery.
8. Press the Search button on the station again to stop the search for repeaters.
