To connect the CAMPMASTER 589692 Butane Hiking Stove to the gas cartridge, follow these steps:
1. Remove all packaging from the stove and ensure that the control valve is turned OFF.
2. Check that the O-ring seal is in place and in good condition.
3. Make sure there are no obstructions around the burner and aeration holes.
4. Shake the gas cartridge to check for gas inside before connecting it to the stove.
5. Keeping the gas cartridge upright, carefully xxxx the stove onto the gas cartridge. Be careful not to cross thread the stove and gas cartridge.
6. Hand tighten the stove securely, but do not over tighten.
7. Check for leaks by applying a soapy water solution to the connection. If you see a stream of bubbles, there is a leak that must be fixed before using the stove.
8. Before placing a pot or pan on the stove, ensure that the pot support legs are folded out.
