To defrost the Beko FSA13030N Upright Freezer, please follow these steps:
1. Unplug the appliance from the power supply.
2. Remove all the frozen food from the freezer and pack them in several layers of paper sheets to keep them cool.
3. Leave the freezer door open to allow for quick defrosting.
4. Place vessels with warm water (maximum temperature of 80°C) inside the freezer to help speed up the defrosting process. Do not use sharp objects like knives or forks to remove the frost.
5. Never use hairdryers, electrical heaters, or any other electrical appliances for defrosting.
6. Once the defrosting is complete, close the defrosting part and dry the interior thoroughly.
7. Clean the interior of the freezer using a damp cloth wrung out in a solution of one teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda to one pint of water.
8. Ensure that the interior is dry and air can circulate freely before plugging the appliance back into the power supply.
Note: It is recommended to defrost the freezer compartment at least twice a year or when the ice layer becomes too thick.
