To change the punch on the HILTI SPN 6-A22 Cordless Shears and Nibblers, follow these steps:
1. Remove the accessory tool from the housing by backing off the indexing pin six full turns counterclockwise.
2. Remove the worn punch from the accessory tool.
3. Grease the new punch and the punch guide in the accessory tool.
4. If applicable, insert the pushrod extension between the pushrod and the punch and grease it.
5. Install the new punch into the accessory tool, making sure it engages with the groove of the pushrod.
6. Hold the accessory tool with the cutting direction facing forward and insert it into the housing.
7. Turn the accessory tool to the desired cutting direction.
8. Turn the indexing pin clockwise and tighten it until hand-tight.
9. Make sure there is no gap between the housing and the die carrier.
