To connect and set up the VigilLink VLSP-18CTH14 1x8 HDMI 1.4 Splitter Over CAT 70m 10.2Gbps, follow these steps:
1. Connect your HDMI source device (such as a DVD player or set-top box) to the HDMI IN port on the Transmitter using an HDMI cable.
2. Connect the HDMI loop output port (HDMI OUT) on the Transmitter to your HDMI display device (such as a TV or monitor) using an HDMI cable.
3. Connect the CAT output ports (CAT OUT) on the Transmitter to the CAT input ports (CAT IN) on the corresponding Receivers using CAT6 cables.
4. Connect the HDMI output port (HDMI OUT) on each Receiver to your HDMI display devices using HDMI cables.
5. Connect the IR receiver cable to the IR IN port on each Receiver.
6. Connect the IR blaster cable to the IR OUT port on the Transmitter.
7. Connect the power adapter to the DC 12V power input port on the Transmitter and plug it into a power outlet.
8. Power on the Transmitter and Receivers using the POWER switch on the Transmitter (press "-" for on, "o" for off).
9. The Power LED on the Transmitter and Receivers should turn on, indicating that they are powered on.
10. The Data Signal Indicator on the Transmitter and Receivers will illuminate if there is an HDMI signal with HDCP, flash if there is an HDMI signal without HDCP, or remain dark if there is no HDMI signal.
