To install the LUMENA LSOLA-PD-PIR Solar Pedestal LED Lamp with PIR, follow these steps:
1. Choose a location where you want the light to be illuminated at night and where the unit will receive plenty of sunlight during the day.
2. Ensure that there are no covers or awnings that shade the solar panel, as this will affect the charging of the battery and result in a shorter run time at night.
3. Avoid installing the lamp near other night-time light sources, such as porch lights or streetlights, as this may interfere with the automatic day/night sensor.
4. Before the first use, make sure the solar light receives at least 8 hours of sunlight for proper charging.
5. To mount the lamp, drill two holes on any flat surface using the mount as a template to determine the hole location and insert plugs.
6. Attach the flat mount to the LED lamp by placing the black washer over the threaded nut and fastening the base to the threaded rod (clockwise). Do not overtighten to avoid snapping the metal.
7. Securely fix the LED lamp (complete with mounting base) to the surface using suitable screws.
