To disassemble the Acer XV240Y LCD Monitor, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the necessary tools, including a working table, Philips-head screwdriver, Hex-head screwdriver, knife, gloves, cleaning cloth, and ESD protection.
2. Disconnect the power cord and ensure that the monitor is turned off.
3. Start by disassembling the RC (Rear Case), stand, and base. Unlock the screws and remove the base and stand from the RC. Then, unlock the center xxxx of the RC and remove it from the monitor.
4. Disassemble the CTRL BD (Control Board) by tearing off the adhesive tape of the FFC CTRL (Flexible Flat Cable) from the RC. Remove the CTRL BD from the RC and disconnect the FFC CTRL from the CTRL BD.
5. Disassemble the SPK (Speaker) and lamp wire by tearing off the tapes of the SPK wire and extracting it from the IF BD (Interface Board). Remove the SPK from the MF (Mid-Frame). Also, tear off the black tape of the lamp wire, remove the black mylar from the SHD (Shield), and extract the lamp wire from the P/BD (Power Board).
6. Disassemble the ASSY TRIM (Assembly Trim) by unlocking the screws and removing it from the MF. Then, remove the LED BD (LED Board) from the TRIM and extract the LED wire from the LED BD.
7. Disassemble the SHD (Shield) and MF by extracting the FFC wires from the panel. Unlock the screws and remove the MF from the panel. Also, extract the lamp wire from the panel.
8. Disassemble the I/F BD (Interface Board) and P/BD by tearing off the mylar from the SHD and unlocking the PCBA screws. Remove the I/F BD from the SHD and extract the P/BD wire and FFC LVDS (Flexible Flat Cable Low Voltage Differential Signaling) from the I/F BD. Finally, remove the P/BD from the SHD.
To assemble the Acer XV240Y LCD Monitor, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the necessary tools, including a working table, Philips-head screwdriver, Hex-head screwdriver, knife, gloves, cleaning cloth, and ESD protection.
2. Ensure that the power cord is disconnected and the monitor is turned off.
3. Start by assembling the I/F BD and P/BD to the SHD. Place the SHD on the worktable and locate the P/BD into the SHD. Insert the FFC LVDS into the I/F BD and connect the wire from the P/BD to the I/F BD. Then, locate the I/F BD into the SHD and secure it with screws. Attach a mylar to fasten the wire on the SHD.
4. Assemble the Panel to the MF (Mid-Frame) by inserting the lamp wire into the panel. Then, attach the MF to the panel and secure it with screws. Use adhesive tape to secure the little connector of the lamp wire.
5. Assemble the ASSY TRIM by inserting the LED wire into the LED BD and attaching the LED BD to the TRIM. Then, assemble the ASSY TRIM onto the MF and secure it with screws.
6. Assemble the SHD by inserting the LVDS into the Panel, placing the SHD on the Panel, and connecting the big connector of the lamp wire to the P/BD. Attach a mylar to the SHD.
7. Assemble the SPK by attaching it to the MF. Insert the wire of the SPK into the I/F BD and use black tapes to secure the wire of the SPK on the Panel. Attach a black tape to secure the lamp wire.
8. Assemble the CTRL BD by attaching the FFC CTRL to the CTRL BD and then attaching the CTRL BD to the RC. Use adhesive tape to secure the FFC CTRL on the RC.
9. Finally, assemble the RC, stand, and base. Insert the FFC CTRL into the IF BD and attach the RC to the MF. Secure the RC with screws and attach the stand and base to the monitor using screws.
