To install the bimar HFP10 Wall-Mounted Electric Fireplace, follow these steps:
1. Carefully remove the packaging and check the integrity of the heater. If you are unsure, do not use it and seek professional help.
2. Before connecting the appliance, check that the voltage shown on the data plate matches that of your electricity, and that the electric plug is grounded.
3. Position the appliance far from other sources of heat, inflammable materials, inflammable gases, or explosive materials.
4. The appliance should only be used fastened to a wall with a flat surface that is free of rough spots, stable, and resistant to heat.
5. Use the provided installation kit, which includes a metal bracket, anchors, screws, a flange, and additional screws. Fasten the bracket to the wall horizontally, making sure it is secure enough to support the weight of the fireplace.
6. Attach the flange to the bottom of the chimney using the provided screws.
7. Hang the appliance on the bracket, hooking the projection of the bracket with the one on the back of the structure.
8. Make sure the appliance and bracket are centered on the wall and mark two holes for fastening the flange. Remove the structure, drill the holes, insert the anchors, hook the structure to the bracket, and tighten the flange to the wall with the screws.
9. Your fireplace can be set up with either stones or logs by placing them inside the structure.
10. Position the front glass on the structure, aligning and matching the slots of the glass with the hooks of the structure. Make sure the glass is correctly positioned and hooked to the frame.
11. Ensure that the power cord is positioned correctly and not touching hot parts or sharp edges. Make sure it is not wrapped around the appliance or coiled around itself.
12. Finally, check that the heating element is free from dust, lint, or anything similar, and that the air output grille is not obstructed by objects or fabrics.
