To assemble the Special Tomato UMMPS06-22LIT Multi-Positioning Seat, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the product and ensure that all the necessary components are included, such as the seat shell, head cushion, back cushion, seat cushion, safety attachment straps, five-point harness system, leg rest extensions, leg rest knobs, footrest, and foot straps.
2. Choose the appropriate base for your needs. If using the mobile floor base, tightly secure the rear strap under the lip of the base and secure the bottom strap under the base between both sets of wheels. If using a standard chair, tightly secure the rear strap around the back of the chair and secure the bottom strap under the seat of the chair. Ensure that the chair is stable.
3. Assemble the footrest by inserting both ends of the leg rest extensions into the corresponding holes in the front of the seat shell. Make sure the leg rests are inserted far enough so that the leg rest knobs go through one of the three corresponding holes in the leg rests. Tighten the leg rest knobs until you feel resistance. Place the footrest at the appropriate height, depth, and angle for your child. Insert the footrest knobs into one of the three appropriate holes on the side of the footrest and tighten them securely.
4. Make any necessary adjustments to the seat cushion, head cushion, back cushion, and footrest to ensure proper positioning and comfort for your child. The seat cushion can be adjusted using the hook and loop strips and track system. The head cushion and back cushion can be adjusted up and down using the hook and loop strips and track reference mark system. The footrest can be adjusted for height, depth, and angle using the hook and loop straps.
5. Secure your child in the five-point harness system by removing the black covers from the shoulder straps and pressing in the gray button. Pull the top strap to tighten and the bottom strap to loosen. The lap strap can be released by pressing the center red button and re-inserted into the corresponding socket to secure the lap strap portion of the harness.
