To install the batteries in the KaWe QM-1-176I Eurolight Ophthalmoscope, follow these steps:
1. For the KaWe EUROLIGHT E10/ E15/ E16/ E30/ E36 models:
- Unscrew the retaining xxxx on the handle and remove the ophthalmoscope head from the handle.
- Insert the batteries or accumulators into the handle, observing the polarity and the lamp voltage (2.5 or 3.5 V). Refer to Section 8: Maintenance and Service for detailed information.
2. For the KaWe EUROLIGHT E25/E35 models:
- The KaWe EUROLIGHT E25 head can only be used with the KaWe MedCenter 5000 wall station.
- Insert the E25 head into the handle of the KaWe MedCenter 5000 device, ensuring that the centering hole is lined up with the support on the retaining xxxx .
- Tighten the retaining xxxx lightly. To remove the head, unscrew the retaining xxxx and carefully pull out the head. Refer to the KaWe MedCenter 5000 manual for detailed instructions.
3. For the KaWe PICCOLIGHT E50/ E56 models:
- Install two AA 1.5V batteries into the handle, observing the polarity. Refer to Section 8: Maintenance and Service for detailed information.
Please note that it is important to use new, high-quality alkaline batteries or fully charged batteries for optimal performance.
