To install the Nice Smoke and Temperature Sensor, follow these steps:
1. Read the installation manual carefully and make sure to follow all safety precautions.
2. Choose a suitable location for the sensor. It should be installed on a wall or ceiling, at least 40cm (2 feet) away from corners and other objects.
3. Make sure the sensor is installed in a room that is prone to fire, but not in kitchens or bathrooms.
4. Install the sensor in already decorated, painted rooms.
5. Avoid installing the sensor in direct sunlight or places prone to drafts or high water vapor condensation.
6. Ensure that the sensor is within the operational temperature range of 0°C - 55°C.
7. Use the provided cover to install the sensor in the desired location.
8. xxxx the Smoke-Control device into the cover.
9. If the sensor is already included in the Z-Wave network, wake it up by clicking the B-button. Otherwise, follow the inclusion process as described in the manual.
10. Test the sensor's operation by performing a self-test. Press and hold the B-button to trigger the self-test.
11. Check the Z-Wave network range to ensure the device is within range.
12. Perform regular maintenance inspections and functional checks as recommended by the manufacturer.
