To change the direction of the hose connection, you will need to loosen the xxxx found on the diverter. Once the xxxx is loosened, you can change the direction of the hose and then tighten the xxxx to secure it in place. The original direction of the diverter hose is backwards, so you may need to adjust it to suit your installation needs.
