The resideo AT120A-E transformer can be mounted using different methods depending on the model. Here are the mounting options:
1. Foot Mounting (Models "A", "B", and "F" only): Mount the transformer using screws through the two (for "B" models) or four (for "A" and "F" models) holes in the mounting feet.
2. Plate Mounting (Models "A" and "D" only): Mount the transformer on a 4x4 inch or 2x4 inch outlet box using an integral 4x4 inch mounting plate. The plate can be mounted either at the clamp on the primary end bell or at the laminations.
3. Mounting Transformer and Plate on Outlet Box: The mounting plate can be mounted on 4 inch square boxes, 2x4 inch rectangular boxes, and 4 inch octagonal boxes. Line up the plate with the box and mount it using screws.
4. Mounting Through Outlet Box Knockout (Models "A" and "C" only): The transformer can be mounted on an outlet box using the clamp on the primary end bell. Thread the primary leadwires through a suitable 7/8 inch knockout and tighten the clamp xxxx securely.
5. Panel Mounting (Models "E" only): Mount the transformer inside a panel using No. 8 screws and washers through at least two of the four holes in the laminations.
6. Conduit/Panel Mounting: Mount the transformer on a plate or panel with a 7/8 inch knockout using the provided 1/2-14 NPSM conduit connector and lock nut. Make sure to meet the UL requirements for the maximum plate thickness.
Please refer to the installation instructions in the resideo AT120A-E transformer owner's manual for detailed diagrams and step-by-step instructions for each mounting method.
