To connect the Cortex EBC wiring harness to your vehicle's PCM connectors, follow the instructions provided in the manual. The PCM connectors are located in the passenger side of the engine bay on the firewall. The PCM has three connectors: the Transmission connector on the right, the Engine connector in the middle, and the Cowl connector on the left.
Refer to the following table for the Cortex EBC to PCM connections:
- +12V Power: Connect the red Cortex wire to the Switched PCM Power pin (C-67) with the green/blue PCM wire.
- Ground: Connect the black Cortex wires (x2) to the chassis near the EBC. There is no specific PCM pin or wire for this connection.
- Engine Speed: Connect the pink Cortex wire to the Intake Cam Position Sensor (CMP21) pin (E-42) with the yellow/blue PCM wire.
- Vehicle Speed: Connect the green Cortex wire to the Output Shaft Speed pin (T-14) with the brown/green PCM wire.
- General-Purpose: Connect the orange Cortex wire to the Throttle Position 1 pin (E-39) with the brown PCM wire.
Make sure to properly connect the wires according to their corresponding colors and pins on the PCM connectors.
Please refer to the manual for any additional information or specific instructions related to your vehicle's configuration settings, such as RPM detection, gear detection, speed detection, and throttle position detection.
