To install the SIRHC LABS Cortex EBC High Amp Solenoid Driver, please follow the steps below:
1. Ensure that the vehicle's power supply is disconnected before starting the installation process.
2. Identify a suitable location to mount the High Amp Solenoid Driver. It should be mounted in a secure and protected location away from excessive heat, moisture, and vibration.
3. Connect the control input wire (purple wire) of the High Amp Solenoid Driver to the control output of your Cortex EBC or any other control device that is 12 V tolerant and able to sink at least 30 milliamps. This wire is responsible for activating the solenoid driver.
4. Connect the power supply wire (red wire) of the High Amp Solenoid Driver to a 12 V power source. It is recommended to use a fused power source to ensure safety.
5. Connect the ground wire (black wire) of the High Amp Solenoid Driver to a suitable ground point on the vehicle's chassis.
6. If desired, connect the diffused indication LED (red, green, blue) to the corresponding terminals on the High Amp Solenoid Driver. This LED provides visual indication of the driver's status.
7. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated to prevent any electrical shorts or damage.
8. Once the installation is complete, reconnect the vehicle's power supply and test the functionality of the High Amp Solenoid Driver.
