To set up the ZTE E1320 Wi-Fi6 Wireless Router, follow these steps:
1. Download and install the ZLife Lite app from the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android).
2. Open the ZLife Lite app and tap on "Add device".
3. Select "Wi-Fi Router" and follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Connect the WAN port of the router to your broadband port.
5. Scan the QR code found at the bottom of the router using the ZLife Lite app. If there is no QR code, enter your wireless account and password manually.
Note: If you are using an Android device, you may need to connect to Wi-Fi manually after scanning the QR code. If you don't want to enter the password manually, you can copy the password. This is a requirement of Android security.
6. After the router is successfully added, the Configure network screen will be displayed. Tap "Bind immediately" to complete the setup process. The indicator on the router should turn green and steady.
Note: For more advanced configurations, you can access the router management web page. The login address, default username, and password can be found on the label at the bottom of the router.
If you have multiple E1320 routers and want to set up a mesh network, you can choose one of the following methods:
Method 1: Use ZLife Lite app for connection
1. Ensure that the router you have just configured is connected to the internet.
2. Power on the new router and follow the instructions provided by the ZLife Lite app.
3. Once the new router is connected to the existing router, the LED on the new router will turn solid blue.
Method 2: Use WPS key for connection
1. Ensure that the router you have just configured is connected to the internet.
2. Place the new router close to the existing router and power it on.
3. Press the WPS buttons on both routers until the LEDs blink green. The time between pressing the two WPS buttons should be less than 1 minute.
4. The pairing process may take up to 2 minutes. When pairing is complete, the LED on the new router will turn solid blue.
5. You can now move the new router to your desired location.
If you encounter any issues, refer to the troubleshooting section in the user manual. It provides solutions for common problems such as the power indicator not turning on or being unable to connect to the network. Additionally, the FAQ section provides guidance on using the Repeater mode to extend Wi-Fi signals and how to access the web interface for further configuration.
