To connect the SAVANT SPK-S1WSx Smart Audio WiSA Sub 1 to your audio system, follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have the necessary box contents, including the Smart Audio WiSA Sub 1, 2-Pin xxxx Down Connector, Power Cord, and Product Regulatory Statement.
2. Locate the input panel on the bottom of the subwoofer. It contains various connectors and controls.
3. Connect the AC Power Input to a power source using the provided Power Cord.
4. Use the Volume Control to adjust the volume level of the subwoofer.
5. The Low Pass Filter control allows you to adjust the upper end of the frequency response. Use this control to customize the sound according to your preferences.
6. The Phase Control is used to time-align the output signal from the WiSA Sub with other speakers in your audio system.
7. If you have a 12V DC input signal, you can use the 12V Trigger Input to control the ON/STANDBY settings of the subwoofer.
8. The IR Input allows for IR control if needed.
9. The LPF Slope control adjusts the slope rate of the upper end of the frequency response.
10. The Power Mode switch allows you to select the power mode of the subwoofer. You can choose between "On" (always powered on), "Audio Sense" (power command sent with active audio signal), or "Trigger" (powers on with 12V Trigger Input).
11. The LFE Input is used for the LFE (Low-Frequency Effects) input.
12. The Status LED provides visual feedback on the current state of the subwoofer. It can indicate normal operation, updating, standby power mode, or critical system errors.
13. The WiSA LED indicates the connection status of the subwoofer. It can indicate WiSA pairing, streaming audio, WiSA connection, or muted audio.
14. If you need to disconnect the speaker from the network and forget any associated WiSA devices, you can use the Reset button. Hold it for 10 seconds to enter Associate Mode.
