To properly wire the CORTEX EBC to your 2012-2015 Honda Civic Si's ECU, you will need to connect the CORTEX EBC wiring harness to ECU connector A. Here are the specific connections you need to make:
CORTEX SIGNAL: Engine Speed
CORTEX WIRE COLOR: Pink
ECU SIGNAL: NEP (Engine Speed Pulse)
ECU PIN: A-22
ECU WIRE COLOR: Blue
CORTEX SIGNAL: Vehicle Speed
CORTEX WIRE COLOR: Green
ECU SIGNAL: VSP (Vehicle Speed Output)
ECU PIN: A-26
ECU WIRE COLOR: Blue
CORTEX SIGNAL: General-Purpose
CORTEX WIRE COLOR: Orange
ECU SIGNAL: APS1 (Accel Pedal Position 1)
ECU PIN: A-28
ECU WIRE COLOR: Yellow
For the vehicle configuration settings, you need to adjust the following:
RPM DETECTION:
- Mode: RPM
- Pulses Per Cycle: 4
- Rotations Per Cycle: 2
SPEED DETECTION:
- Mode: VSS
- Pulses Per Mile: 6,000
- Scale Factor: 1/32
GEAR DETECTION:
Follow the steps in the Setup – Gear Detection section of the Help utility to determine the correct EVS ratio settings for gear detection.
THROTTLE POSITION DETECTION:
- Mode: TPS
- Closed TPS Voltage: 1.00
- Open TPS Voltage: 4.70
