To install the heel bumper on the Fillauer AllPro XTS Posterior Mount prosthetic foot, follow these steps:
1. Pull the pylon and foot plate apart and insert a piece of plastic to hold the parts open.
2. Remove the pre-installed heel bumper by pulling it up and away from the heel lock.
3. Install the desired bumper (standard 40A durometer or "Firm" 60A durometer) by ensuring that the lock pins engage the bumper properly.
4. If you want to secure the bumper in place, you can remove it again and apply Superglue to the heel lock before reinstalling the bumper.
Note: It is important to use a torque wrench capable of 44 ft-lbs. (60 N·m) to tighten the closure nut when removing or installing the bumper. Do not use Loctite on the threads.
