To configure the feed times and duration on the Moultrie Directional Quick-Lock Feeder Kit, follow these steps:
1. Install the battery: Open the kit and remove the outer case. Install a 6-Volt Alkaline or Moultrie rechargeable battery by attaching the Red Alligator Clip to the positive terminal (+) and the Black Alligator Clip to the negative (-) terminal. Make sure the rubber protectors are around the clips after installation onto the battery.
2. Set the current time: Press the PROGRAM button and use the UP or DOWN buttons to set the hour. Press RIGHT to set the minutes. Press BACK to return to the Main Menu or press PROGRAM to proceed to the next setting.
3. Set the current day: Press the PROGRAM button until the Set Current Day screen appears. Use the LEFT or RIGHT buttons to select the current day. Press BACK to return to the Main Menu or press PROGRAM to proceed to the next setting.
4. Set the estimated feed remaining: Press the PROGRAM button until the Est. Feed Remaining screen appears. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to select the amount of feed you have in the feeder. Press BACK to return to the Main Menu or press PROGRAM to proceed to the next setting.
5. Set the feed time: Press the PROGRAM button until the desired Feed Timer appears at the top of the screen. Use the DOWN button until the feed time is flashing. Press PROGRAM to enter edit mode. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to set the hour and the RIGHT button to set the minutes. Press PROGRAM or BACK to return to the Feed Timer.
6. Set the days of the week: After setting the feed time, press UP so the days of the week start flashing. Press PROGRAM to enter edit mode. Use the LEFT or RIGHT buttons to highlight the desired day. Press DOWN to disable the selected day or UP to re-enable it. Press PROGRAM or BACK to return to the Feed Timer.
7. Set the run duration: Press DOWN and LEFT until the RUN DURATION seconds are flashing. Press PROGRAM to enter edit mode. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to set the desired feed duration. Press PROGRAM or BACK to return to the Feed Timer.
8. Set the motor speed: Use the UP or DOWN buttons until the motor speed setting is flashing at the bottom of the screen. Press PROGRAM to enter edit mode. Use the RIGHT or LEFT buttons to select the desired motor setting. Press PROGRAM or BACK to return to the Feed Timer.
9. Repeat steps 5-8 for all required feed times.
10. Test the feeder: Press the BACK button to reach the Main Menu. Press the TEST button to enter Test Mode. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to set the Test Duration. Press PROGRAM. Use the RIGHT or LEFT buttons to select the desired motor speed. Press PROGRAM to perform the test.
