To replace the battery in the Tekelek FM-5051-02 Cellular Logger Device, follow these steps:
1. Remove the void if removed sticker from the base of the unit.
2. Untighten and remove the 2 HEX screws located on the device.
3. Separate the top and bottom plastics of the device.
4. Slide the SIM card door backward towards the hinges and lift the door to open the SIM card holder. If there is an existing SIM card, remove it.
5. Slide the new SIM card into the holder, ensuring to observe the polarity. Close the door and slide it forward to secure the SIM card.
6. If necessary, remove the old O-ring and replace it with a new O-ring. The recommended O-ring is the 82.50 x 2.20 Silicone Rusty Red O-Ring (30 Shore).
7. Make sure the O-ring is seated correctly.
8. Mate the top and bottom plastics of the device and secure them using the 2 HEX screws. Torque the screws to 2Nm.
