To replace the SIM card in the Tekelek FM-5051-02 Cellular Ultrasonic Device, please follow these steps:
1. Turn the unit over and remove the "void if removed" sticker from the base of the unit.
2. Untighten the four screws from the base in a diagonal sequence.
3. Remove the screws fully from the base.
4. Stand the unit in an upright position to prevent the batteries from falling out, and separate the top and bottom plastics.
5. Slide the SIM card door backward towards the hinges and lift the door to open the SIM card holder. If there is an existing SIM card, remove it.
6. Slide the new SIM card into the holder, observing the polarity. Close the door and slide it forward to secure the SIM card.
7. If required, remove the old O-ring.
8. Place a new O-ring or the existing O-ring on the top plastic, ensuring it is seated correctly in the groove.
9. Mate the top and bottom plastics, taking care not to damage the connectors. Note that the four legs of the top plastic will only mate with the corresponding holes of the bottom plastic in a certain order to align the connectors.
10. Inspect that the O-ring is still seated correctly.
11. Secure the plastics using the four screws in the following sequence: Place diagonal screws and tighten initially to 2.5±0.3kgf.cm. Again, using diagonal screws, final torque all screws to 7.0±0.3kgf.cm.
12. Once secure, inspect the seal between the plastics to ensure it has been closed correctly and that the O-ring has not been caught between the plastics. There should be a consistent gap of 0.5mm around the full circumference of the unit when closed correctly.
