To mount the Basil Hook onto your bicycle carrier, please follow these steps:
1. Click your bag with the hooks onto the bicycle carrier.
2. Turn the "green flag" to lock your bag on the carrier.
Please note that the Basil Hook should only be mounted by adults. It is important to regularly check if the Basil products are properly and safely installed on your bicycle. Failure to do so may void the warranty. Additionally, weather conditions can affect the product, so it is recommended to take this into consideration.
If you are using Basil products that are compatible with or can be mounted onto third-party products, please ensure that you follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer of those products. Basil cannot be held liable for the assembly and use of products delivered by third parties.
Optional adjustability:
- Horizontal adjustability/replacement: Adjust the position of the hooks to prevent them from sliding over the carrier.
- For carriers with small tubes, an alternative hook is available to avoid rattling of the bag on the carrier.
To secure the straps during cycling, please follow these safety warnings:
Option a: Single bag
- Do not leave the shoulder straps outside the bag during cycling.
- Place the shoulder strap inside the bag.
Option b: Backpack
- Do not leave the shoulder straps outside the bag during cycling.
- Pull the shoulder straps to the front and click them together.
