To install the ITC CAXX-FELL-SC Cypress Table Leg, you will need the following parts/tools: #10 Pan Head Screws, #10 Oval Head Screws, #12 Oval Head Screws, Power Drill (not provided), Table Base, Floor Base, Table Leg, and Screws (not provided). Here are the steps to follow:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to account for all parts and remove all packing materials to avoid any hazards to children.
2. It is important to note that the table is intended for use as a table only and should not be sat on or leaned on.
3. The sturdiness of the table system depends on the stiffness and rigidity of the floor mounting substrate. Mount the floor base into a solid floor structure, such as wood, using #12 Phillips oval head screws.
4. Align the T-bolt on the bottom of the leg with the rectangular opening in the floor base. Insert the T-bolt, press and hold the button, and begin to turn. After one turn, pull up on the leg to ensure that the T-bolt is secure in the floor base. Continue to turn the leg until it is fully secure.
5. Mount the table base onto the table top (customer-provided) using the designated xxxx based on the material of the base. Ensure that the weight of the table top is evenly supported over the table leg. Align the table base to the leg and push it down.
6. If your table base is made of black plastic (TS4002), use #10 Pan Head Screws to secure it. If your table base is made of die-cast aluminum (TS5030-Y), use #10 Oval Head Screws.
7. To ensure the table base is secure to the table leg, make sure the table base goes over the first black piece.
To remove the leg and table base:
1. Press the button at the top of the post to remove the table base. Twist it until it releases from the taper fit, then lift until it pops off the post.
2. To remove the leg, press the button, then turn the leg counterclockwise and lift gently until the leg is removed from the base.
3. When the leg is not in place, place the cover on the floor base.
4. It is important to hold down the button until the base pops off when removing it.
