To install the ITC 81TS1000, 81TR1000 Series Surfit Table Leg, follow these steps:
1. Gather the necessary parts and tools: You will need the table base, floor base, table leg, power drill (not provided), #10 Phillips oval head screws (not provided), and a 2.5" or 3.25" hole saw bit (not provided).
2. Ensure safety: Before starting the installation, disconnect the power to avoid any accidents. Also, make sure to account for all the parts and destroy any packing materials to prevent hazards to children.
3. Mount the floor base: Drill a hole in the floor, ensuring that the base will be mounted into a solid floor structure such as wood or fiberglass. Use #10 Phillips oval head screws to attach the base securely to the floor. The diameter of the hole will depend on the type of base you have: 2.5" for aluminum base (81TR1000-X) or 3.25" for polymer base (TR1000HPPR-B).
4. Mount the table base: Attach the table base to the table top (customer-provided) using #10 Phillips oval head screws. Ensure that the weight of the table top is evenly supported over the table leg for stability.
5. Insert the table leg: Insert the table leg into the hole in the base. To remove the leg, rotate it and pull straight up until it is completely removed.
