To connect the EZCast ER01/ET01/WR01/WT01 Ethernet Transmitter and Receiver, follow these steps:
1. Position the toggle switch on both the transmitter (ET01/WT01) and receiver (ER01/WR01) to the same mode (SW/SP).
2. Connect the power cable to the DC IN port on the transmitter and receiver. Use a 12V/1A power supply.
3. Connect the HDMI OUT port on the transmitter/receiver to a monitor for display.
4. For the transmitter (ET01/WT01), connect the HDMI IN port to your device (laptop or computer).
5. For the receiver (ER01/WR01), connect the HDMI OUT port to the monitor for loopback.
6. Connect the AUX IN/OUT ports for audio output to a speaker, if needed.
7. Connect the IR IN/OUT ports for remote control, if needed.
8. Connect the RJ45 port on the transmitter/receiver to a router or switch with an Ethernet cable for network connectivity.
9. For the transmitter (ET01/WT01), connect the USB PC port to your computer to receive reverse control signals.
10. For the transmitter (ET01/WT01), connect the RS232 port to input RS232 signals for remote control.
11. For the receiver (ER01/WR01), connect the USB K/M port to support an external keyboard and mouse for remote control.
12. For the receiver (ER01/WR01), connect the RS232 port to input RS232 signals for remote control.
13. Use the reset hole to reset the device to factory default settings, if needed.
14. The PWR light should be lit when power is supplied, and the LINK light should flash when data is transmitting.
15. Use the MODE button to switch display modes (lighting for mode 1) and optimize the resolution by long-pressing the MODE button.
16. Use the ID button to switch channel IDs and long-press to switch between high-bit and low-bit channel adjustment (lighting for mode 2).
17. Set the channel ID to the same value on both the transmitter and receiver for SW mode.
18. For SW mode, every transmitter/receiver under the same network should be set to a different channel ID.
