Cleaning the Blendtec CQB2 Stealth Countertop Blender is easy. Here are the steps:
1. After each use, add 1 cup (240 ml) warm water and 1-2 drops of liquid dish soap to the blender jar.
2. Place the lid tightly onto the jar and place the jar on the motor base.
3. Press and hold the pulse button for 5-10 seconds to blend the soapy water.
4. Remove the jar from the motor base and rinse it with warm water.
5. For long-term sanitation, you can sanitize the jar by filling it with a sanitizer diluted to the manufacturer's specifications. Leave the diluted sanitizer in the jar for five minutes, then empty it and rinse the jar thoroughly with water.
6. To clean the motor base and sound enclosure (if applicable), ensure that the blender is unplugged. Use a clean, damp rag to wipe down the plastic housing, gaskets, metal top, and sound enclosure. You can use a mild all-purpose, non-abrasive cleaner if needed.
7. Avoid using stiff bristled brushes or abrasive cloths/pads, as they may scratch the surface of the blender.
8. Never submerge the motor base in water, as it can damage the blender. Do not use a water jet to clean the motor base.
