To power the PARADOX DB7 FHD Video Doorbell, you will need to connect two power wires to the DB7. It is recommended to use 18 gauge wires up to 30 meters in length. The DB7 can be powered by a wide range of power supply voltages, including 12-24 volts AC or DC, with a minimum 10W power supply. The DB7 requires a power consumption of 500 mA and 10 volts at the connection terminals. Please ensure that the wires and length support this power requirement. It is important to note that connecting the DB7 to the Aux bus wires of an alarm system may not be able to supply the necessary current, especially with 21-gauge wires or insufficient Aux reserve. It is recommended to allow 8 hours of charging before full function may be available.
