To connect and set up the DORIS CCTV EXTN-4K-120 4K 120M HDMI Extender Cascade Connection, follow these steps:
1. Connect the source device (e.g., Blu-ray player, gaming console) to the transmitter using an HDMI cable. The maximum length of the HDMI cable should be 15 meters.
2. Connect the display device (e.g., TV, projector) to the receiver using an HDMI cable. Again, the maximum length of the HDMI cable should be 15 meters.
3. Connect the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) using a single cat5e or cat6 cable. The maximum length of this cable can be up to 120 meters.
4. Connect the IR RX (infrared receiver) cable to the 3.5mm IR RX port of the transmitter, and connect the IR TX (infrared transmitter) cable to the 3.5mm IR TX port of the receiver. This allows you to control the source device remotely.
5. Plug in the power adapter to the TX and RX units.
6. The LED indicator on both the transmitter and receiver will show a steady blue light when a signal is input and working.
