To connect the syscomtec SCT-USB4-FMM USB3.1/2.0/1.1 Fiber Extender to your computer, please follow these steps:
1. Connect the Transmitter (FOUB30T) to your computer:
a. Connect the USB3.0 Type-B male connector on the Transmitter to a USB3.0 Type-A port on your computer using a USB cable.
b. Connect the power supply to the Transmitter using the provided DC 12V power adapter.
2. Connect the Receiver (FOUB30R) to your desired USB devices:
a. Connect the USB3.0 Type-A female connectors on the Receiver to your USB devices using USB cables.
b. Connect the power supply to the Receiver using the provided DC 12V power adapter.
3. Connect the Transmitter and Receiver using fiber optic cables:
a. Connect one end of the fiber optic cable to the LC fiber connector on the Transmitter.
b. Connect the other end of the fiber optic cable to the LC fiber connector on the Receiver.
4. Power on the Transmitter and Receiver by plugging in the power adapters.
Once the connections are made and the power is turned on, the syscomtec SCT-USB4-FMM USB3.1/2.0/1.1 Fiber Extender should be ready to use. The USB devices connected to the Receiver will be recognized by your computer as if they were directly connected to its USB ports.
