To install the klima Electric Under Wood Heating Mat, please follow these steps:

1. Check the contents of the package to ensure you have all the necessary components, including the heating mat, control card, flexible sensor tube, and installation instructions. Note that the thermostat, including the floor sensor, must be purchased separately.

2. Before starting the installation, make sure the surface on which the mat will be installed is flat, clean, and free of dust and grease. Also, ensure that the subfloor is sufficiently solid and pressure-resistant.

3. Determine the place where the thermostat will be installed, using a standard flush-mounting box with a minimum depth of 50 mm. Cut the necessary slots and install the flush-mounting box, electrical conduit, and floor sensor conduit. The floor sensor should be located within its own conduit pipe.

4. Place PS floor insulation with a minimum thickness of 5mm over the entire floor area. Tape the sheets down to prevent the insulation from moving.

5. Cut a trench out of the PS insulation and subfloor for the floor sensor tube. Place the sensor tube, including the floor sensor, and tape it down. Ensure that the sensor is exactly between two cable loops of the heating mat.

6. Roll out the heating mat, maintaining a minimum gap of 50mm from walls and fixed furniture. If the mat is not at the required length, it can be cut and rotated to run back along itself in parallel, without damaging the heating cable. Test the mat using a multimeter.

7. Cover all exposed heating cables (visible when the mat is turned over) at the top and bottom with aluminum tape to protect the mat's earth jacket.

8. Fix the mat to the subfloor using the same aluminum tape. Then, lay the laminate or wooden floorboards according to the manufacturer's instructions.

9. Connect the thermostat. This should be done by a qualified heating engineer in accordance with local regulations. Before installation, always switch off the electricity in the meter cupboard. Refer to the instructions enclosed with the thermostat for installation, operation, and programming.
