To adjust the position of the threaded post on the mounting bracket, follow these steps:
1. Unscrew the canopy loop ring from the canopy loop.
2. Lift the mounting bracket up to the junction box and place the canopy over the canopy loop, so that it is flush with the ceiling.
3. Determine if the threaded post needs to be adjusted to allow the canopy to be flush with the ceiling.
4. If adjustment is needed, loosen the hex nut on the threaded post to allow movement.
5. Slide the threaded post on the mounting bracket to the desired position, ensuring that the canopy covers at least half of the exterior threads on the canopy loop.
6. Once the ideal position is determined, tighten the hex nuts onto the threaded post just beneath the mounting bracket to secure it in place.
By following these steps, you can adjust the position of the threaded post on the mounting bracket to ensure the canopy is flush with the ceiling during installation.
