To operate the , follow these steps:
1. Familiarize yourself with the driver's cab: The enlarged cab is designed for maximum comfort and freedom of movement. All vehicle information is displayed on the color display of the HIT3 (HUBTEX information terminal). The HIT is mounted on an adjustable support arm for easy alignment. Hydraulic functions and the pre-selection of the direction of travel are operated via the ergonomic multifunction joystick. The height and inclination of the steering column and the air-suspended seat can be adjusted for additional comfort.
2. Ensure excellent visibility: The unique cab concept provides an optimal panoramic view. The elimination of a mast-side cab column, along with the compact design of the mast, gives the driver an unrivaled visibility radius. This allows for an optimal overview of the machine.
3. Choose the right battery solution: Depending on your application, HUBTEX offers different battery options. The standard option is the classic lead-acid battery, while users with high operating hours can benefit from the advantages of Li-Ion batteries. The electric drive is quiet and environmentally friendly.
4. Understand the multi-directional steering system: The FluX is equipped with the patented HX steering system, allowing it to change from longitudinal to transverse travel without an intermediate stop. This reduces the time required to switch wheels and offers optimum maneuverability. The 4-wheel steering offers the largest steering angles and smallest turning circle. It also helps reduce wheel wear as the direction of travel is changed while driving, rather than while stationary.
5. Familiarize yourself with the chassis, drives, and tires: The FluX has a 4-wheel chassis with hydraulic level compensation for optimized driving and steering. The all-wheel steering guarantees large steering angles and the smallest turning circle in all driving directions. Energy-efficient and powerful three-phase drives and pump units are used. The units are equipped with elastic tires (EL) as standard to meet the requirements of different floor conditions.
6. Understand the fork carriages and boom: The booms and fork carriages of the FluX have been newly developed to optimize visibility of the load and travel of the truck. The result is a compact loader with optimized fork carriages. The truck has a fixed mast and a fork carriage inclination of +5°/−5° as standard for effective and safe handling.
