To properly clean and maintain the HOICE Measured Liquor Pourer, follow these steps:
1. Before first use, soak the pourer in warm, soapy water for 10 minutes. Then, rinse it in cold water.
2. To install the pourer, wet the cork and push it straight into the bottle.
3. To remove the pourer, twist and pull it straight up out of the bottle.
4. When pouring, hold the bottle at approximately a 45° angle. Avoid "whipping" or "babying" the bottle into the pouring position. When the bottle is low, allow the liquor to reach the neck of the bottle before tilting it to a 45° angle.
5. For regular cleaning, soak the pourer in warm, soapy water and then rinse it in cold water. It is recommended to wash the pourer at least once a week for optimal performance.
6. The HOICE Measured Liquor Pourer is designed to pour liquor only and may not pour accurately when used with water, lemon, sugar, etc. It is not recommended for cordials.
7. If the cork fins flatten over time, you can run the corks under hot water for approximately 30 seconds and then run them under cold water. This should help straighten the fins.
8. It is important to note that the HOICE Measured Liquor Pourer should be hand washed only. Do not run it through the dishwasher or wash it in extremely hot water.
By following these care instructions, you can ensure the proper cleaning and maintenance of your HOICE Measured Liquor Pourer, allowing it to function effectively and accurately.
