To change the charging stage from two-stage to three-stage on the SmartGen BACM2420A Battery Charger, you need to adjust the "Charging Stage" parameter. Here are the steps:
1. Connect the charger to the power source and the battery pack according to the wiring connections provided in the manual.
2. Access the parameter configuration menu by pressing the "Menu" button on the charger.
3. Use the arrow buttons to navigate to the "Charging Stage" parameter.
4. Press the "Enter" button to enter the parameter setting.
5. Use the arrow buttons to select the desired charging stage. In this case, select "3" for the three-stage charging process.
6. Press the "Enter" button to confirm the selection.
7. Exit the parameter configuration menu by pressing the "Menu" button.
