To install the EMTEK F20 UL Listed Mortise Lock xxxx by xxxx , Lever by Lever, please follow the steps outlined in the installation guide provided:
1. Install Cylinder Plug: Thread the cylinder plug clockwise onto the lock body. Ensure that the notch on the cylinder plug is in the 9 o'clock position when fully screwed onto the lock body.
2. Install Mortise Lock: Refer to the template for door prep specifications and follow the instructions to install the mortise lock.
3. Adjust and Install Spindle: Rotate the spindle one full turn until both slots are facing the same way.
4. Install Key Cylinder: Insert the key ¾ of the way into the key cylinder and thread it clockwise onto the trim plate. Note that the plates and lever/ xxxx may vary depending on the style.
5. Tighten Key Cylinder: Once the key cylinder is installed, secure it by tightening the xxxx .
6. Mount Inside Trim to Door: Attach the inside trim to the door according to the instructions provided.
7. Install Trim Plate: Install the trim plate as directed in the installation guide.
8. Tighten Inside Lever or xxxx : Use the provided 3/32 Hex wrench to tighten both levers with the appropriate amount of force.
9. Install Door Jamb: Refer to the template for door jamb prep specifications and follow the instructions to install the door jamb.
Instructions to reverse swing:
1. Remove dowel xxxx : Remove the dowel xxxx and keep it aside. Remember to replace it after reversing the swing.
2. Pull out and rotate latch bolt: Pull out the latch bolt and rotate it to reverse its direction.
