To connect the Aegislink SC-WF240 WiFi Combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm to your Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:
1. Download the Tuya Smart/Smart Life app from the App Store or Google Play, or scan the included QR code to install the app.
2. Register an account on the app.
3. Remove the insulating film from the battery compartment of the alarm to turn it on. The LED indicator will flash red and then continuously flash green.
4. Open the Tuya Smart/Smart Life app and tap the "+" icon in the top right corner of the "Home" page, or directly tap "Add Device" to add your first device.
5. Go to "Sensors" -> "Sensor/Alarm" -> "Sensor/Alarm (Wi-Fi)" on the "Add Manually" page to enter the Wi-Fi connecting page.
6. Enter your Wi-Fi network name and password.
7. Hold down the test/silence button on the alarm for 3 seconds to enable the Wi-Fi connection mode. The alarm will beep once, and the LED indicator will rapidly flash green.
8. After a successful connection, the LED indicator will stop flashing green. Click the "+" button beside the device to add it to the app. Select "Done" to complete the setup.
9. The LED indicator will flash green rapidly for up to 2 minutes during configuration. If the connection is unsuccessful, remove the battery for a short period and start again from step 3.
10. Once the device is successfully connected to the app, you can customize settings and receive push notifications.
Note: Make sure you know your Wi-Fi network name and password, and ensure that you are connecting the alarm to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (not compatible with 5 GHz Wi-Fi network).
