To select the desired waveform on the HTC Instrument FG-2002 Function Generator, follow these steps:
1. Power on the instrument by pressing the power switch.
2. Use the waveform choice buttons to select the desired waveform. The available options are sine wave, triangle wave, square wave, positive and negative sawtooth, and positive and negative pulse.
3. If you want to get the positive and negative sawtooth wave or pulse wave, coordinate with the SYM and INV buttons.
4. Adjust the frequency-selective switch and the "8" button to choose the working frequency.
5. The frequency units will be indicated on the display, and the gate show indicator will light up if the frequency meter is working.
